Vet Centers serve veterans and their families by providing a continuum of quality care, which adds value for  veterans, families and communities. Care includes professional readjustment counseling, community education, outreach to special populations, the brokering of services with community agencies, and providing a key access link between the veterans and other services in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

TN American Job Center Houses a few different organizations that can assist with resume writing,

career assessment, training, working with individuals with disabilities, case management, veteran

services, and employment services.

Tennessee has a network of centers across the state where employers can go to find workers they

need and job seekers can get career information and services. Each center offers computerized labor

market information, Internet access, workshops, an on-line talent bank, job placement, recruitment

and training.

Veterans seeking employment and employers or federal contractors looking to hire Veterans now have more resources than ever at their disposal. Through VetSuccess on Campus, VA and education institutions partner to give student Veterans the tools to ensure they achieve their academic goals, and the resources to find a meaningful career afterwards. VA assigns experienced counselors from its Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment (VR&E) program to assist the growing number of Veterans taking advantage of VA education benefits. These counselors provide academic and vocational guidance to student Veterans, and provide them with information about VA benefits and healthcare services. The counselors maintain close relationships with local VA Vet Centers and VA medical facilities, referring Veterans as needed for counseling or medical services and providing assistance enrolling in and applying for VA medical and nonmedical benefits.
